1. General Returns

Please Note: No soiled items will be accepted as returns. You must return the item in the condition that it was received in.

Feature Coffee will accept returns provided that:

  • The Item/s have not been used
  • The Item/s are in their original packaging/sealed with all extras present
  • The Item/s are damaged or the wrong Item/s have been received (See section .2)

Feature Coffee will not be liable for return shipping costs if:

  • The Item/s are being returned as an unwanted item
  • Items are damaged due to negligence from the customer
  • If any of the above conditions are not met you will be responsible for shipping costs

Wrong Item/s must be notified within 3 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange. Feature Coffee will be liable for the shipping fees if the following conditions are met.

  • The Item/s has not been worn/used
  • The Item/s are in their original packaging with all extras present.
  • The Item/s are not damaged/soiled

2. Items damaged in transit

  • Item/s deemed as damaged during transit must be reported within 3 days of receiving your order.
  • Any Item/s that are damaged during transit will be returned at no cost to the customer and will be replaced. A refund may only be actioned should there be no stock to replace the damaged item.
  • Kindly note: Should the damaged Item/s need to be replaced, it will be replaced for the same item ordered. Should there be no stock available, you will be offered a refund or store credit.

3. Returns Information

Once a return has been logged you will be notified of the shipping details thereafter. All items being returned must be inspected by Feature Coffee before an exchange or refund can be made.

4. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled at any point during the checkout process before making payment. Once a payment has been made and your order has been marked as “Processing” you will have to wait to receive your parcel and then log a return. Please see 1. General Returns

5. Exceptions to Return/Refund Policy

Perishable products, including coffee beans, cannot be returned.

  • We work with the highest quality coffees we can source and roast, so we rarely see quality issues with our beans however If you suspect that there is a quality issue with any of the coffee beans you receive from us, please let us know by emailing hello@feature.coffee.
  • Please remember that beans will be at their best when they are fresh, so please use them within a few weeks of purchasing.
  • Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that what you order will be to your personal taste and cannot accept returns on the basis that you did not enjoy the coffee.

6. Website Use

  • Acceptable Use:

    • Users agree to use the Feature Coffee Roastery and Café website (the “Website”) lawfully and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of others.
    • Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: illegal activities, harassment, spamming, and posting content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
    • Feature Coffee Roastery and Café reserves the right to monitor and remove any content that violates these terms.
  • Intellectual Property:

    • All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, and trademarks, is protected by copyright and trademark laws and is owned by Feature Coffee Roastery and Café or its licensors.
    • Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Website content without prior written consent from Feature Coffee Roastery and Café.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • “As Is” Basis:

    • The Website and its content are provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. 
    • Feature Coffee Roastery and Café does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information on the Website.
  • No Guarantees:

    • Feature Coffee Roastery and Café does not guarantee the availability, uninterrupted use, or error-free operation of the Website.
    • Technical problems may result in temporary unavailability of the Website.
  • Third-Party Links:

    • The Website may contain links to third-party websites.
    • Feature Coffee Roastery and Café is not responsible for the content or availability of these third-party sites.
    • Users access such sites at their own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Indemnification:

    • Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Feature Coffee Roastery and Café, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from their use of the Website or violation of these terms.  
  • Exclusion of Damages:

    • In no event shall Feature Coffee Roastery and Café be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Website, even if Feature Coffee Roastery and Café has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to Terms

  • Right to Modify:
    • Feature Coffee Roastery and Café reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
    • The revised terms will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website.  
    • Users are responsible for reviewing these terms periodically for any updates.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • Applicable Law:

    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
  • Dispute Resolution:

    • Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be resolved through negotiation, mediation or arbitration.

By using the Feature Coffee Roastery and Café website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
